About Tinley Park, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Tinley Park, Illinois is an affluent village found in Cook County, and as of 2010, nearly 57,000 people lived here. BusinessWeek has previously selected Tinley Park as the best place in the U.S. to raise a family, and the village is one of Chicago’s fastest growing suburbs. Tinley Park is home to four elementary schools, and older students will complete their education at either Tinley Park High School or Victor J. Andrew High School. Tinley Park is the site of the Tinley Park Lights, an event in which mass UFO sightings were reported from 2004-2006.

Tinley Park is home to a variety of attractions and things to do. Arts and cultural attractions include the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center and the Vogt Visual Arts Center, both of which are found in this community. The First Midwest Bank Amphitheater is located in Tinley Park, and this outdoor venue seats approximately 28,000 visitors. Families with young children may enjoy a trip to Odyssey Fun World or the local Chuck E. Cheese’s. Additionally, the community hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including an Irish Parade, a Parade of Lights in early December, and a Farmers’ Market held Saturday mornings from June to October.

Residents of Tinley Park will enjoy four distinctive seasons during the year, making it essential that they invest in both home cooling and heating systems. Summer temperatures can vary from the high-70s to low-90s depending on the day, and high humidity can make it seem even warmer. Without the proper precautions in place to keep cool with an air conditioner, heat-related illnesses could be a real possibility.

Northeast Illinois also experiences cold winter months with frequent snowfall, and in January, average high temperatures fail to reach the freezing point. When snowy and cold conditions move into the area, roadways can become hazardous, and residents will need to keep safe indoors. Cold weather could cause home plumbing to freeze if an efficient home furnace isn’t in place, and this could lead to an expensive and inconvenient repair bill.
